Driver Arrested for DUI

The driver of this Toyota pickup was arrested yesterday evening after rolling his truck over on Cedar Hill Road in Wappinger. The driver, who stated he swerved to avoid a deer, was uninjured in the crash, however tests showed his blood alcohol content was .14, almost twice the legal limit for driving of .08. Cedar Hill was closed for nearly an hour while New Hackensack Fire Department and Town of Wappinger Ambulance operated at the scene.
