Motor Vehicle Accident

At 12:49 am, New Hackensack and TOW Ambulance were dispatched to this one-car motor vehicle accident.  The driver veered off the road into a utility pole and the vehicle then rolled over.  The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported for evaluation.  Her passenger suffered more severe injuries to the face and head.  While he managed to walk over to the EMS personnel, he needed immediate medical attention and Stat Flight Air 2 was requested to the scene.  After securing an airway, he was transported to Westchester Medical Center.  The scene was under investigation by the NYS Police.  The couple was returning from "The Chance" in Poughkeepsie.  While the driver was tested for alcohol, no results were released.
