Motor Vehicle Accident

The driver of the pickup truck received injuries after colliding with this tree on Pye Lane. He was transported by Town of Wappinger Ambulance.  The scene was investigated by NYS Police.  The driver apparently reached down to grab a pack a cigarettes and the truck veered off the road where it hit a tree stump and then collided with the tree, snapping the tree.  (Photos by Bill Johnson)
