Apparatus Center Dedication Ceremony

June 5, 2004

New Hackensack celebrated the construction of the new Apparatus Center on Saturday, June 5th at 2:00 pm. After the ceremony, attendees enjoyed refreshments and toured the firehouse and learned the history that brought New Hackensack to its newest and largest addition.

Rev. Bill Dalrmple started the ceremony off with a prayer.

Town Supervisor Ruggiero gives a speech thanking New Hackensack.

Dutchess County Emergency Response Coordinator Dewitt Sagendorph thanks New Hackensack for their Dedication to Safety and Service.

Chairman of the Board Bill Parsons welcomes and thanks the architects of the construction for a job well done.

The cutting of the ribbon was done by May Lopez, the widow of Commissioner Manny Lopez that past away in October.

New Hamburg Fire Commissioner Jack Perusse and Station #1 President Jim Hannigan present Commissioner Parsons and New Hackensack with two plaques to congratulate them on their apparatus center dedication.
