Structure Fire - 18 Montfort Road

New Hackensack was dispatched to this structure fire at approximately 12:30 a.m.  Upon arrival, firefighters found the abandoned structure fully involved in the rear and in the main portion of the home and the attic.  Firefighters made an aggressive attack from both front entrances and another attack line was sent to the rear to extinguish the porch and the rear sections of the home while crews also worked to open up the roof and ventilate.  The cause of the fire was investigated by the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division.  The fire started on the porch in the rear and has been ruled as suspicious.
