Truck Fire

Just around 5:00 pm, New Hackensack was dispatched to this truck fire at the intersection of Diddell Road and Smith Crossing Road.  Upon arrival, it was reported that the fire was in the engine compartment, however it spread quickly to the occupant compartment.  The fire was contained to the front of the truck.  The cause was deemed undetermined due to the extent of damage to the engine compartment.  The scene was turned over to the NYS Police.
