Motor Vehicle Accident

August 29, 2006

Caution tape marks where a vehicle crashed into this stone wall on Cedar Hill Road just a few days earlier. On Friday August 25th, New Hackensack Fire Department and Transcare Ambulance responded for an incident where rain and slick conditions caused a SUV, carrying a mother and two children, to lose control and slide across the lawn and come to rest after crashing into the stone wall. With rain continuing on Tuesday August 29th, New Hackensack and Transcare were dispatched to a second vehicle accident at the same location, again carrying a mother and two children. Their vehicle rolled over before stopping against the same stone wall. All the children were transported for evaluation with minor injuries. Both mothers were transported for evaluation as well, however with the driver of the first incident suffered from a ruptured spleen. New Hackensack would like to remind everyone to take it slow on wet roads and drive with caution.
