Motor Vehicle Accident

New Hackensack Fire Department was dispatched to this 1-car motor vehicle accident on Route 376 near Top Of Hill Road.  The driver, with a junior license, was apparently under the influence of alcohol and lost control of his vehicle on the way home.  After leaving the road, the car slammed into a telephone pole.  Thankfully, there were no occupants in the passenger seat.  The driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation by the Town of Wappinger Ambulance.  The incident was under investigation by the NYS Police.
