House Fire

New Hackensack was dispatched to this kitchen fire on Pye Lane.  The fire, which started next to the stove, ignited the outside of the structure after going through the stove vent system and entered the roof via the sofits. Firefighters were able to contain the fire before it spread across the roof and kept the fire damage to a minimum, however most of the home sustained smoke damage.  (Pictures Courtesy of Jim Tompkins)
