Motor Vehicle Accident

At approximately 10:00 p.m., New Hackensack Fire Department and Town of Wappinger Ambulance were dispatched to this 1-car rollover on Myers Corners Road near Spookhill Road.  The driver, which refused medical treatment, stated he swerved to avoid a deer however was taken into custody by the NYS Police after apparently being under the influence of alcohol.  No other injuries were reported.
