New Hackensack and Hughsonville Fire Departments responded to the mobile home fire on Smithtown Road.  The 14 x 70 structure was 75% engulfed in flames at the time of their arrival.  Thanks the the quick response of six firefighters from Hughsonville and twelve from New Hackensack, the fire was extinguished before reaching a very special portion of the home.  The owner was very happy to find that a room containing photo albums and other momentos of her mother had been saved.
