Auto Accident
August 29, 2002 at 9:19 am
Due to the inclement weather and a slick road surface, this 2-car MVA
occurred on New Hackensack Road just West of the R&R Deli. Initially,
first responders had been told that there were two critical trapped patients.
Upon arrival, the patients had been removed from the vehicles. One
patient was transported to the hospital for a possible broken wrist and
burns received from her hot beverage. The other was also transported
for neck and back pain. Fortunately, there were no passengers in
the red vehicle as you can see the extent of the damage below. Twenty
of New Hackensack's finest responded to the scene, which was handed over
to the NYS Police for investigation.
