Rescue Drill

With
cold temperatures and finally a chance to play on some ice, New Hackensack put
on an ice rescue drill. Thanks to Meadowbrook Farms for the use of their
pond, members were able to don ice rescue suits and practice saving victims that
had fallen through the ice. Hughsonville Fire Department also attended the
drill. It was a fun and educational experience for all members
involved. For those safety conscious individuals reviewing the
pictures, the two firefighters on the ice near the hole are wearing life jackets
under their gear.
