I was exploring your site today, getting alittle nostalgic I guess. I remembered that in 1976, I think it was, I was the 'First Annual Volunteer Firemans Assoc Queen' and I represented NHFD. My father George was a fire commissioner in the 1970's.
I came to your site today looking for information on Ricky Anderson, son of Arnie Anderson. I was just notified that Evie Anderson (Arnies wife) passed away a couple of days ago. Just thought I would let the NHFD Family know that. The old DeGarmo Hills group is getting smaller. It is so sad. Thank you for having my dad's name in your Memorial page. So many names from my past years of growing up in Wappingers jumped out at me. It has been a very long time.

I have started a Yahoo! group for people who used to work at Sloper-Willen Community Ambulance Service.
This guestbook will not allow me to post the link, but I will e-mail the link to anyone interested . just drop me an e-mail.
The reason I started this group is not so much for people to regularly chat with each other (though that is allowed), but instead to have a registry of people who used to work there for others to contact.
If you want to sign up and need help please let me know. Also, the names and information listed (other than the messages posted on the message board) are only available to other members of this group. No personal information will be used outside of the group and non-group members cannot see it.
